    Just another Inception Review

Well, last Friday I went on to see Inception for the second time since it has been out here in Spain. If the first time I saw it, it was amazing, this time it expanded my view of the whole concept of the film.

I consider it to be one of the more complex plots of the lasts years but it is amazing how you know (or at least feel like you know) where you are in the film at all times. It’s like movies like “Blade Runner” and “Fight Club” wich every time you see them again you start to notice things that you didn’t realize before or that you simply didn’t see the first time.

The actors are really well picked because although most of them are known you don’t associate them with any performance they’ve done in the past which makes it easier to enter the story. I really like Ellen Page because she’s really nice and from my generation and of course DiCaprio who is amazing for this role.

Visually it’s stunning. What can I say… Nolan has stept it up since the Batman movies and what is really amazing is that the Visual FX serve the story perfectly and not the other way around. Although I love VFX and any movie with hardcore VFX is always fun to watch it’s really inspiring to see a story told where the VFX don’t feel like a meer display of techniques or new technologies. They are designed to enhance the story which is amazing.

It became one of my favorite movies of all-times the minute the credits rolled in. I will see it again and again when I have the chance and I’m also waiting for the October’s number of Cinefex that will feature Inception (as well as: Avatar: the Last air Bender, Prince of Persia and the A-team), to see and read about some of the Special and Visual Effects in the movie. I hope they do a good making of and a Special DVD edition of it because it’s really worth it!

Well that’s about it! I’ll leave you with two links for information (in infographic form) of the films levels and stuff. It’s not spoiler free so beware! Click on the images to see the whole image on it’s original context)

And if you still haven’t seen it please do :P

    Ness out!
