RSA Animate + Andrew Park
Today I just wanted to mention the Idea behind the RSA and the illustrator Andrew Park.
“The RSA (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce) has been a cradle of enlightenment thinking and a force for social progress for over 250 years”
The part which I want to talk about is something they call “RSA Animate”. This consists in having the talented Illustrator Andrew Park draw in a whiteboard what a speaker is talking about. This might seem like confusing or worthless but it is indeed really helpful in getting the whole picture of the lecture. It provides you with visual stimulus that embraces what the lecturer is talking about and makes the lecture entertaining and interesting.
