    TED iPad App

Today I want to talk about an iPad app I’ve been using for some time. It’s the TED iPad app. For those of you who don’t know what TED is:

“TED is a small nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design. Since then its scope has become ever broader.”

In fact it’s a great place to watch conferences about concepts that great thinkers, engineers, designers and more share with the world.

The app looks great by itself but what makes it great is the inspire me feature.

In the bottom left corner of the app we find the inspire me button. When we press it it takes us too a screen where we decide how we want to be inspired.

Once we’ve decided this we decide how much time we have and then we get presented with a presentation that fits our needs of inspiration,

This is a great feature to use in all types of situations where you have some little time to kill or if you’re confortable with multitasking. I use it for example when I wake up and I’m eating breakfast or if I’m waiting for some render to finish etc…

The other features are as always, sort by all types of talks: alphabetical order, by recent, etc… You can also download for offline viewing perfect if you’re an assiduous traveller.

And the best thing is that it’s free so it’s a must have for your great looking iPad!

    Enjoy!
